A: All vans of Patsornchai Tour are yellow plate vans, category 30, for legal charter rental service. They are not blue plate vans or category 10 buses. Customers can therefore be confident in their safety and standards as determined by the Department of Land Transport.
A: Patsornchai Tour’s vans can accommodate up to 15 passengers (including the driver) according to the van passenger standards in Thailand. They are suitable for traveling in small groups, whether it is a family trip, a tourist trip or a business trip.
A: All of Patsornchai Tour’s vans and buses use diesel fuel for maximum efficiency on long-distance journeys and to suit various routes. Diesel also helps the engine to be durable, energy-efficient, safe and has good acceleration on all road conditions.
A: The differences between each type of van are as follows:
Yellow plate van, Category 10
For regular service, such as running along the Bangkok-provincial route or routes within the province. There is a fixed route and time.
Not suitable for renting a whole car.
Blue plate van
Is a van with a personal license plate. It cannot be used to provide pick-up and drop-off services or rent a whole car according to the law. If it is used to provide services, it is considered a violation of the Transport Act.
Yellow plate van, Category 30
Is a van that is registered specifically for renting a whole car. It can provide services legally, has passenger insurance, and has passed the safety inspection by the Department of Land Transport.
